This might be more complicated than you think. A business that uses a motor vehicle, no matter why or how often, is a business that needs commercial auto insurance. It doesn’t matter who owns the vehicle. If it’s driven for company business, the company should insure itself against auto liability and make sure drivers are licensed and personally insured with good driving records.
